hi everyone,long time no see!✿◕‿◕✿
so i thought about updating this because its nearly been a year since i used this blog (I've been on tumblr,YouTube and rhythm games)
so today im gonna talk about the anime "nagi no asukara also known as nagi asu: a lull in the sea
here's the plot (that i got from wiki):
Long ago, human civilization had lived on the ocean floor. However, there were many humans who wanted to live above the surface and they moved to land creating a fundamental separation between the two. After their school closed down, four 14-year old middle school students from the sea village, Shioshishio, had to attend Mihama Middle School on the surface. What follows is their struggles to adjust to a new environment and the relationships between the sea and land people, while dealing with their own newfound feelings that had just started appearing with the end of their childhood.
now this is my type of anime!Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ any anime that has something to do with water and seas are awesome now lets introduce the characters
first up is Hikari Sakishima
he's One of four childhood friends from
Shioshishio. He has a short temper and usually scolds Manaka for her mistakes
though he has deep feelings for her(so basically a tsundere... KAWAII (๑♡ ∀♡๑) ) He is the son of Shioshishio's Chief
Priest that serves the Sea God. At first, he hates all people from the surface
but after learning about the relationships between the land and sea human. so he's the outgoing person that most of the girls like
next up is Manaka Mukaido
she's One
of the childhood friend from Shioshishio. She is an indecisive, middle schooler who is
prone to cry (so she's the CLUMSY BAKA! that is cute everytime she makes a mistake) Manaka is shown to have feelings for Tsumugu. She is highly
dependent on Hikari and Chisaki. As time passes, she starts to become more
independent.
next up is Chisaki Hiradaira
she's also One
of the childhood from Shioshishio. She has feelings for Hikari but is afraid to
admit it after realizing he is in love with Manaka. She is afraid it will ruin
their relationships and hides her feelings.so she's the mature and caring girl
and then there's Kaname Isaki
One
of four childhood friends from Shioshishio. Hikari's best friend who is quiet
and mature for his age. He has a love interest in Chisaki and cares deeply for
her. so he's the back up guy that all of us want the girl to go for but NOOOOOO he's going for the main guy b
also there's Tsumugu Kihara
A
boy from the surface whose grandfather is a fisherman. One day, he meets Manaka
by reeling her in a net. He is quiet, stoic, and very interested in the
underwater world. His grandfather is from the sea.so he's the cool serious type that looks quiet mature
and finally there's the two kids Miuna
Shiodome and Sayu Hisanuma
they're third grade elementary school girls and they're best friend minua has a crush on Hikari while saya has a crush
on Kaname. now that i think about it, its kinda cute!
also there's minor character like all these childrens parents, the sea god and the resisdents of the sea and land but i cant be bothered to explain all that... -_- so here's some pictures of them
so i love the artstyle of this anime it glisten and shines so much!! its like i want to dive into that water and become a character in this anime!!♡♡♡
like the sea, the sea looks so beautiful in this anime, i wish all under the sea look like this...

THE FREAKING EY- WOAH!! O_o ... scary
but anyway the character developing was great i got to learn about every character (though i felt that there's should be some more development for kaname and saya ) for me i found a tiny bit of the story confusing but then it was easy to understand because this is a romance drama with a bit of fantasy
but the main thing that got me into this anime is the openings, IT SOUNDS SOOO GOOD!! here are the ops and eds:
the second op and ending might have a bit of spoilers and you might get a bit confused (like i did)
there's a lot of romance in this anime, like half of the time its mainly about the romance and the love triangle.. love square? ...no...a love pentagon?... na how about a love octagon! :D
i would give this anime 9/10 so if your into drama,good artstyles and love whatever the f*** this is then you'll love this anime so go check it out!
